Ms. Agosta is a four-time member of the Canadian Olympic Team in Women's Hockey having competed at Torino 2006, Vancouver 2010, Sochi 2014 and at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea..
During her international career representing Canada, she has won 3 Olympic Gold in 2014, 2010 & 2006 and Olympic Silver in 2018, 2 IIHF Women's World Ice Hockey Championship Gold, 6 World Ice Hockey Championship Silver, 6 Four Nations Cup Gold, 5 Four Nations Silver and a IIHF Twelve Nations Bronze.
In her career, Meghan has played 160 games and today is the longest tenured player with Hockey Canada.
She played professionally as the #1 Overall Draft Pick for the Montreal Stars in the Canadian Women's Hockey League where she played from 2011-12 to 2012-13.
Meghan is a graduate of Mercyhurst University with a degree in Criminal Science.
After the 2014 Olympics, Meghan went to the Vancouver Police Academy and upon graduation became a member of the Vancouver Police Department where she has been an officer since May 2015.
In May 2017 after 2 years on the job, she took a leave of absence to rejoin Hockey Canada to pursue her 4th Olympic Gold medal and will centralize with the team in Calgary, AB in August 2017 through the Winter Olympic Games. Once the Olympic Games are over with Meghan will move back to Vancouver and rejoin VPD in May 2018.
