Emily Clark, Renata Fast & Kelly Pannek were all selected by their respective teams to be alternate captains for their squads.

Fast, additionally holds this role as a part of the leadership group for Hockey Canada, the roles are new for Clark and Pannek who respectively play for the Canadian and American Women’s National Teams and have played at the previous 2 Winter Olympics Games along with Fast for Canada as well.

The 3 women were all the first signed players for their PWHL clubs.
