January 5, 2024 — Just as New York spoiled the Toronto inaugural PWHL game at Mattamy Athletic Centre, Toronto turned the table on New York beating them in their home opener at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, CT with a 3-2 victory.

The game itself saw the first JAILBREAK goal in PWHL history, springing a PWHL Toronto player from the penalty box on a shorthanded goal and Toronto’s first power play goal in front of 2,152 fans.
