January 1, 2024 - In the inaugural game seen on CBC, Sportsnet and TSN, Renata Fast got the start for PWHL Toronto. The historic game at a sold out Mattamy Athletic Centre which had not see a professional hockey game since the Toronto Maple Leafs departed for Scotiabank Arena in 1999 and a retrofit of the old Maple Leaf Gardens which moved the rink floor from below street level to now on the 4th floor of the building.
