February 3, 2024 — Four members of the PWHL took part in the Pride Cup which was coached by PWHLPA Executive Director Brian Burke and included PWHL Ottawa’s Emily Clark and Emerance Maschmeyer, PWHL New York’s Alex Carpenter and PWHL Montreal’s Erin Ambrose.

The National Hockey League’s Commissioner, Gary Bettman presented a check for $25,000 to the Toronto Gay Hockey Association one of the largest LGBTQ+ hockey associations in the world at the conclusion of the event.
