May 29, 2024 - PWHL Minnesota captured the inaugural Walter Cup in Game 5 of the PWHL Finals with a 3-0 win in Lowell, MA over PWHL Boston.

Minnesota had to have a “Reverse Sweep” down 2 games to zero and win the next 3 over 1 seed Toronto and win Game 5 on the road after scoring what would have been the “Championship Goal” in overtime of Game 4 at the Xcel Energy Center on May 26 which was overturned on referee video review.
