CHARITY EVENTS:  2015 - Gold Meets Golden (promotion of the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles)

NOTES:  Her Olympic medal was the first by the United States in the Open Water discipline.  Her sister Alyssa won a Gold Medal in London as a part of the 4x200 meter relay freestyle team.  Alyssa attended the University of Arizona and youngest sister, Jordan, graduated from the University of Utah in 2019 where she was the 3rd member of the family to compete in the Pacific 12 Conference.

  • Her medal in 5k at the 2015 FINA World Championship was the 500th medal in the history of the event for the United States.

  • Haley was the FIRST qualified member of the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team with her Silver medal at the 2019 FINA World Championships in South Korea

  • Haley is the first U.S. woman to ever win a medal at the FINA World Championships in the 10k Open Water race.

  • Haley is the first U.S. Olympic athlete to qualify for the Olympics 3 times in Open Water Swimming

  • As of the 2019 FINA World Championships, Haley’s 5 Open Water medals are tied for the most by a U.S. Open Water swimmer by a male or female athlete.
