December 2014 - She will additionally be serving as an envoy to the US State Department's SportsUnited to Kazakhstan.  She and two other US paralympic sled hockey athletes will be going on this mission.

PUBLIC FACING INITIATIVES:  September 2014 - Attended and introduced the launch of NHL/NHLPA Digital Goals education initiative / Summer 2015 - Julie will take part in the Special Olympics World Games 2015 Torch Relay in New England / December 31, 2015 - Played in the Inaugural Outdoor Women's Classic for the Les Canadiennes de Montreal (CWHL) vs the Boston Pride (NWHL)
