Katie and boyfriend Tyler Fedun. Tyler is a professional hockey player who is a member of the Buffalo Sabres system.
Katie and Tyler live together in upstate New York.
Katie retired from the US Field Hockey program in January 2017 with her last competition being the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics losing in the quarterfinal to Germany.
Upon her retirement (as well as younger sister and fellow US National Team member Julia), Katie has gone back to school to earn credits towards a career as a physician's assistant.
