  • Raised $16,323 for Hurricane relief in Puerto Rico. Money raised went to the Impact Fund for the Boys & Girls Club of P.R. (via Push Ups 4 for Puerto Rico which she founded “a call to do push-ups and lend support similar to that of the ice bucket challenge”) - her parents had recently moved back to San Juan from California

  • Ambassador, 2016 USOPC Team for Tomorrow - Launched in 2008, Team for Tomorrow is a humanitarian program that helps Team USA athletes connect with their communities in a meaningful way. In 2014, our 11 athlete ambassadors led sport demonstrations and talked about the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle at YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs and other youth organizations across the country

  • Founding Member, Council for a Strong America - This is a national organization of athletes and coaches who come together to make sure that every child can compete in life. Using research about what gives kids an edge in the future, they educate the public and policymakers on the local, state and national levels about the importance of developing and investing in proven programs that help at-risk children be fit and healthy, stay in school, graduate, and succeed in life.
