Ms. Duggan is a 3-time member of the U.S. Olympic Team in Women's Ice Hockey having competed at PyeongChang 2018, Sochi 2014 & Vancouver 2010.
At the 2018 & 2014 Winter Olympics, Meghan was the Team Captain, this has only been achieved by one other American woman and that was Hockey Hall of Fame member Cammi Granato.
During her international career representing Team USA, she has won an Olympic Gold at the 2018 Winter Games, 2 Olympic Silver 2014 & 2010 Winter Games, 7 IIHF Women's World Championship Golds and 2 IIHF Women's World Championship Silver medals. The 7 IIHF Women's Worlds Championships are tied with 2 current U.S. teammates and 2 retired Canadians for the most all-time in the history of the sport. Additionally, she has 6 Golds from the Four Nations Cup along with 4 Silvers and a Bronze.
Meghan is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Biology. While in school, she won 3 NCAA National Championships and became the all-time leading scorer in school history with 238 points in 159 games (108 goals & 130 assists).
In her senior year, she was the NCAA Leading Scorer and added honors as the USA Hockey Women's Player of the Year, Patty Kazmaier Award for best collegiate player, NCAA Women's Frozen Four Co-MVP and Frozen Four All Tournament Team.
Off the ice, Meghan has given back to the nation via her hockey partnership with CCM Hockey. In the past 2 years, she has made donations to Snider Hockey (Flyers) in Philadelphia, Monumental Sports (Capitals) in Washington and a donation to the Tampa Bay Lightning Foundation just prior to the U.S. Women's National Team residency in the local area in September 2017.
In all, these donations tie-in to giving back to the next generation of kids who may not be fortunate to be able to afford hockey equipment, girls/women's hockey development or need a hand at deferring of costs to the sport.
In the Spring of 2018, Meghan took part in the first State Dinner to honor the President and First Lady of France at the White House with fellow Gold medalist Olympic curling champion John Shuster.
Meghan today lives in the New York metro area and is married to Gillian Apps. In August 2019, Meghan and Gillian announced that Meghan was pregnant and is due in February 2020.
She has partnerships with CCM Hockey, Dunkin Donuts, Jaguar Land Rover North America, Kellogg's and P&G.
