May 31 2024 Inaugural PWHL Walter Cup Champion - Kelly Pannek

This inaugural @thepwhlofficial season, I had the opportunity to work for women on 5 of the 6 teams. In the case of the #WalterCup champions my clients were @KPannek & #MaddieRooney. Both women have had tremendous success in their #USWNT time, but Kelly has had even more with a #NCAAchampionship and in her time on TV was nominated in 2023 for an #EmmyAward with @ballysportsnorth in the Twin Cities.

Kelly’s passion for the sport is unmatched and truly she is in the 1% of individuals who sees, understands, analyses and can explain the game and use this knowledge in real time on the ice (or to a broadcast audience) to help the team WIN.

After the game 4 loss at the Xcel, I saw her ride the bike a full hour after the final whistle in 2OT just thinking about not just the game that was played but getting ready for the next one at the same time.

Truly, an honor to have the opportunity to work for Kelly and know that for however long she plays and whatever will be next for her down the road that she will excel at whatever she decides she wants to do. She gets it at so many levels & has a lot of fun at the same time.

PS - Kelly and LEE STECKLEIN are the first 2 women to collect all 4 CHAMPIONSHIPS in their career.

A native of Washington, D.C. but a transplant resident to the City of Los Angeles since 1991. I have held positions with the National Hockey League, Los Angeles Kings and XTRA Sports 1150 Sports Radio Los Angeles in the past.

Today, I own a boutique firm that represents Olympic & Paralympic athletes from the United States & Canada as well as Professional Women’s Hockey League players. I have represented these athletes since 2005 and eventually helping some of them transition to broadcasting beyond their playing days.

I am passionate about helping these athletes today and what is beyond for them in the real world. At the same time, if they want my assistance with things like Gender Equitable treatment or I see a wrong that happens where someone from the outside needs to step up and say "hey we need to look at that here" I am usually all-in to help my clients out.
