Suffered her disability as a child in the Ukraine as a result of a birth defect from the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant fallout. Oksana moved from an orphanage in the Ukraine to the United States after being adopted by Ms. Gay Masters when she was 8 years old.
Received new Ottobock legs in February 2016 (insurance billed them at $400,000)
